RICHLAND CO.— An Olney man has been charged with lying to authorities and reporting that a local attorney pushed him, when in fact, the incident never took place.
Details in the case allege that on or about April 25, while at 100 South Kitchell Ave., Olney, Gary L. Wyatt, II, 47, of 6231 North Wood River Rd., Olney, knowingly reported that he had been pushed by Bartley Zuber while on the sidewalk in front of Zuber’s office, knowing at the time of the report that there was no reasonable grounds to believe that such an offense took place.
Junior is a convicted felon from January 15, 2015 when he was found guilty of Theft $500-$10,000, for which he was sentenced to conditional discharge for 24 months and ordered to pay $2,316.43 in fines and fees.
What exactly lead Wyatt to make such a report is not clear.
No bond information was available in case.
