RICHLAND CO.— A former Parkersburg man with a history of thievery, who squeaked out of drug charges in 2014, has now been charged with meth.
Formal charges allege that on or about August 31, while at his residence, Anthony J. Chapman, 20, of 4649 East Dundas Ln., Dundas, committed the offense of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine when he was found to have less than five grams of the drug on his person.
Chapman was convicted May 10 of one count of Retail Theft for which he was sentenced to conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay $469 in fines and fees, of which he still owes $169.56.
Has a pending case from Aug. 26 in which he is charged with Theft.
Cash bond in his most recent case was set at $2,000.
