WABASH CO., Ill. - The most recent significant other of the remaining Earp clan kids was busted earlier this week following a traffic stop in Mt. Carmel.
Kathi Sue Cessna, 20, reporting an address of Sumner in Lawrence County, has been the most recent thing in child molester Jonathan Earp's life; but she's apparently living up to the reputation at least a few in possession of that last name in Wabash, Lawrence and Richland counties have managed to develop.
Having already gotten herself hemmed up in Richland on a meth charge (which you can read about here if you have an online membership to the e-Edition; if not, click the link and you can get started), Cessna, who attempted to excoriate us for even running the story of how she and Earp were both charged with meth in that county, apparently can't put the stuff down.
On October 5, Mt. Carmel Police arrested two passengers in a vehicle being driven by Colt J. Nall, 25, of Bridgeport after he was stopped for a traffic violation.
During the stop it was discovered that a Jeremy Moore, 33, from Scottsburg, Indiana, was in the vehicle and that Moore was wanted on a warrant out of Knox County.
MCPD K-9 Ace and handler Sgt. Steve Perry then arrived on scene. K-9 Ace alerted on the vehicle which lead officers to believe narcotics were in it.
During a search of the vehicle, the second passenger was arrested when it was discovered she was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. That passenger was identified as Cessna. She was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore was arrested on the Knox County warrants and is being held pending extradition to Indiana. The driver of the vehicle was released after receiving a no insurance citation.
Cessna is facing an Oct. 28 hearing date on the Richland County meth delivery charge. At her young age, it might've been possible for Richland to kind of go easy on her, but now, that might be a stretch. Watch upcoming issues to see how this develops; get a subscription so you don't miss a THING.
